The edge is past antarctica, not exactly a friendly or easy place to access.

Let us know when you personally have the money/time/resources to personally go to antarctica, not on a sanctioned trip, but on your own.

Only then by using a compass can you travel directly south to get to the "edge"

Or as admiral byrd described: a land beyond the south pole as big as America, completely unexplored.

There may not be an edge, it may be that we are in a giant ice pond, and past the ice, is another pond, with another land.

So let us know when you personally can travel down there yourself and see.
