coriolis effect alone disproves it

If it was that means every time hovered in a balloon or left the earth's surface, it would rotate under you. that isn't what happens though, and we are told we are in sync with the rotation of the earth, that's why we don't feel it move. and you just proved you don't understand what the coriolis effect is. It is NOT just the Earth rotating under you. It is the DIFFERENCE in rotation between areas North and South of each other. As an object travels North the rotational speed under it changes. It still has the momentum from before so that difference is seen. Ok So then you just admitted it has nothing to do with the shape or roation of the earth and in no way proves a globe earth. It's simply a phenomenon that's caused by a force. It could still be happening on a flat earth too and be caused by electromagnetic forces.
