Go watch the documentary Maiden and it will prove that the earth is round..
These are boats that race around the world.
The second leg of the this 1989 race goes from Uruguay to Australia.
In the documentary, everyone knows that sailing furthest south would shorten the distance to the destination.. because the world is round
And the only boat to brave the dangerous waters and go that route is the one that crushed the competition.
