The lengths they'll go to

What lengths have you seen people go to in order to cover up a crime and keep going?

There's the classic calling a bullet to the back of the head a "suicide" to get rid of enemies, of course.

There's calling a likely death sentence of a treatment a "cure."

There are also more subtle things like approving documents that aren't valid rather than dealing with illegal immigration.

Or claiming that the child trafficking crimes of a person running a "save the children" organization are just a conspiracy theory, even when evidence is as big as a mountain, because that person "must be good" since they're running a program that gives them free and unfettered access to vulnerable children.

Calling the claims of trafficking victims invalid while rubber stamping and allowing economic migrants a free pass at their expense as "trafficking victims."

Or claiming an illegally adopted kid is a biological one, leaving that child with no defense against the strangers who now own them.

Etc.

Got any more of the thousands of examples out there?
