Coping with going too far down the Rabbit Hole
What do you (the 10 or 20 of you left on this forum) do when you’ve gone so far down the rabbit hole that you no longer have anyone who can relate with you?

You’re a normal person, probably extremely curious, somewhat intellectual obviously, and a seeker of knowledge and truth.

You know things that others refuse to see or accept - or maybe they’re just not interested in. Maybe you have friends who are on the same level. You’re not overly-obsessed with things, but you are far beyond being a voting-class slave and it’s hard to live happily knowing how things really work, and seeing behind the veil? How do you cope with it?

I’m not looking for answers, and many will have their opinions. I’m just curious mostly. You haven’t lost your mind, you are still able to find happiness in your life occasionally, but the knowledge you’ve acquired makes it difficult to truly enjoy life because everyday you’re confronted with lie after lie, illusion after illusion - and you know that this is exactly what they are...

Everyone is different and we’re all affected differently. Everyone has methods to cope. But let’s face it, there comes a point when carrying all that knowledge becomes a heavy burden.

The answers for this “rabbit hole disease” do not come from religion or god or anything like that - the problem is not emptiness, it’s actually about being too full.

Thoughts and comments are welcomed and encouraged.

The answers for me do come from god. Mostly likely not the god dictated to us but an all knowing god. The universe if you like.

You give too much credit to those who try to fool you.

The universe seems cruel short term but fair long term. It's why they have hurried everything.

It's okay to get angry... esp. when you feel like you're carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.

It's okay to drink and smoke (weed)... but not too much and not all the time.

Read, read, read... you need a strong mind to get though these lies.

Never give up hope... no matter what you've seen or heard!

Spend time with your family... and other love ones.

And always remember... if our situation was hopeless they wouldn't need the lies and propaganda running 24/7.

Living with a fellow Conspiracy Tard has its advantage there. It's "did you hear?" "Did you read about?" His stuff is not my stuff, but we fill one another in. Man, we are both loners in the community, though! You just don't talk about this stuff, but you find people with an interest and belief here and there, and take it to the limit that person can bear while not ranting, raving or challenging.

As Rabbit In The Hat stated, I've stopped talking to most people about the things I've learned as well. There are literally only two people in my life who have learned similar truths on their own whom I can talk with about these things.

Same here. Nature, universe, creator.. But at the same time, I think there are many who never find that. And many who do, yet still cannot cope.

I hate to “give credit”, as you put it, but it’s not easy. I won’t blame those who try to fool us, I’m just thinking that it’s a heavy load and a difficult way to live when everything that once excited you or seemed promising becomes pointless (but not in a depression type of way)..

For example, to see people struggling and trying so hard to open a business that’s bound to fail because they don’t understand how it all works. Kids having kids and getting married thinking their life will be great and then waking up one day at 50 years old and realizing everything they thought and were taught is a fucking lie. I feel for those people, I want to help them but I cannot because, well, denial basically.

I can find my happiness, but there’s always going to be a deep sadness at the state of things. Sometimes there is not a way to use all that knowledge to make a difference sharing it. Mostly it falls on deaf and uninterested ears.

Maybe to be a monk for awhile would help to find some purpose. Maybe to travel and teach others about it can help. But not everyone can do that.

Again, this is not a personal therapy thread for me. I’m just curious what others think and feel because admittedly, sometimes it’s rough.

I work online, I earn a good living and can work from anywhere in the world. Everywhere I go I see the same bullshit - sick society under total control without a clue in the world of what they’re contributing to. It’s difficult times although I don’t dwell on it. I believe my quality of life is less due to things I know, yet simultaneously improved because it pushes me to learn from people with sound philosophies Alan Watts, or to expand my mind with the ideas of McKenna, etc...

I just wanted to make a convo out of it. See where it goes. I’m curious of other’s perspectives.

Thanks for your reply.. :)

All humans know the truth, they deny it. A typical human brain figures it out before the highschool bid is done. We are a product that is produced on a farm in the middle of the universe.

When you talk about that subject it is alarming to the brain it produces that fight or flight feeling because the only thing a farm animal wants is to be free.

I have 2 or 3 people like that. One was my partner. We still have a strong bond from this aspect alone, although don’t converse much - maybe once a year. I travel a lot. I don’t see my core friends as often as I’d like. Agreed.

I’ll respectfully disagree with the idea that everyone knows it and just chooses to deny it, very confidently. I’ll agree somewhat with your other statements.

It’s extremely interesting though, denial and the human mind - how that all works. Much different than simple disbelief or a desire to forget.
