With today's state of affairs, there won't be a restoration of anything.

There is some controversy over who said it, "America can never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." But I would change that quote slightly to ", it will be because we were destroyed from within."

The so called "deep state" is a combination of covert government, corporate media, academia and technology companies. Slowly over many decades they have eroded society by pushing propaganda into the soft heads of young Americans. The masses have lost their ability to think critically and for themselves, and have transformed into legions of zombies regurgitating everything they hear and see in the media and in academia. Its not just the liberals, this phenomena exists across the political spectrum. The introduction of big social media like facebook, twitter and the like put this program into hyperdrive. This is WHY it seems like just in the last 10-12 years the USA has rapidly devolved into a literal idiocracy. It happened fast!

What they are doing is extremely overt, in your face obvious. Classic tried and true brainwashing technique is to repeat something over and over. Eventually people will begin believing it. I swear I hear the same bullshit a thousand times a day, every day, on every "news" outlet, social media thread, radio - you name it, liberal or "conservative".

This has produced a population that has become so divided that it has reached the point of no return. Reconciliation of differences is impossible. All you have to do is take a look around to see it. We all know what happens in ANY society that reaches this point.
