Your pattern is flawed Careful, you are comparing the Mother of Jesus to a false idol.

Catholics know how to spell.

Yeah, no.

Considering how many Catholics are third-world outhouse shitters I think your premise is deeply flawed.

My wife is from Poland, Roman Catholic, her spelling is dicey on a good day.

If these are your defense tactics for your ancient theology, well...you're on really flimsy foundation.

Spelling acuity is not the premise of my post, so your diversionary tactic fails. However, the best educated Americans have been educated in Catholic schools. I am sorry you view your Polish wife as dumb. Is she too stupid to attend regular Sunday Mass?

You leave the thread avoiding the subject matter: diddling children by Baptist preachers! Odds are that you are Baptist.

They do ask a Priest for forgiveness who then "absolves" them of their sin. Instead of asking God to forgive them of their sin in effect circumventing God and instead giving that power to a mere man. This is so the Church can control their constituents by claiming only the church leaders have the authority of interacting with God. With no where else to turn, as it is an established tenet of the church and is firmly reinforced by church teachings they must remain loyal or suffer the wrath of God for unsolved sins. This includes pentinance for the sin established by a man, includes fees from approved and often unapproved Papal authorities which are often forged so local Dioceses and Priest can sustain life styles of the rich and famous
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76509910

What total crap. You display no understanding of the Catholic Church. Priests give absolution in persona Christ, by the authority given to them by Jesus Himself to Peter and the apostles. All Christians believed this until the Reformation.
John 20

22 After saying this he breathed on them and said: Receive the Holy Spirit.

Re: Catholics do not pray to Mary. It's a negative stereotype and false narrative created by Baptists. I challenge Anyone!
Once and for all, for the record Catholics do not pray to Mary. They don't ask Mary to forgive them of their sins, they don't ask Mary to help them get a new job, they don't worship Mary as their savior, they don't think Mary is the only way to heaven, they pray that Mary heals their cancer, they don't pray to Mary to bless them...

As you can see below, this is exactly what they say to Mary,

"Hail Mary, (She's dead and you are engaging in necromancy)
Full of Grace, (Again, she's dead.)
The Lord is with thee. (She....iS DEAD)
Blessed art thou among women, (She....is dead she is no longer blessed.)
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus. (This is true, Yeshua is alive)
Holy Mary, (She is dead, she is no longer holy and she was only Holy by her obedience to God and his law and for no other reason.)
Mother of God, (Mother of Jesus the man. God is her Father, she bore a MAN in her womb, she did not bear God....fool...)
pray for us sinners now, (This is supplication I.E. prayer to....you guessed it, a DEAD WOMAN you hypocritical necromancer)
and at the hour of our death.(You don't know how close you are to death it is not funny.)

Amen" (So Be it, Christ is the Amen)

It's no different than asking your neighbor to pray for you. Or the saying, "You're in my Prayers," or how about telling a friend "Dang I was diagnosed with Cancer, pray for me please." (No you hypocrite, if your neighbor died and then you got on your knees against commandment and made supplication to that dead neighbor and asked that DEAD neighbor to make supplication to a God who has neither raised them from the dead unto judgement yet nor judged them on the day of judgement that he said he would judge all on...then it would be similar)

When Baptists(Not just baptists, a great many people know Catholics are hypocrites) say Catholics are hell bound because they pray to Mary, it's because they are repeating a stereotype without doing proper research. Instead of focusing on Mary they should focus on their own heretic doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved bullcrap. Some of these Baptists are so prideful, I heard a boastful sermon from a Pastor that said he never repents because Jesus died on the cross and there's no need to repent.

You want to talk about hellish doctrines cooked up from the kitchens of hell, talk about that one! (No, I will stick to telling people about the lawless traditions which break God's law on a day to day basis which Catholic commit and their wicked history of adultery, witch craft, and taking of titles which do not belong to them and God never gave.)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74568952

Lawless hypocrites taking Yahweh's name in vain. Even if I claim woe unto you...you will not listen unless God himself, which he does constantly, brings you out of that false church.

You people do not even know the law so that you may keep it, but claim you do not have to and every. Single. Time. you people get into power the people rebel in massive numbers to the point where they hate God for your hypocrisy and they usually rebel sexually. Guess where most homosexuals pop up in the world, i'll give you one guess.

Rome was slaughtering anyone who even dared to try and read the Bible for themselves.

Look into the Waldensians from a Protestant perspective, at least look at the information one time. It's really bad, you must flee Rome. I don't want any of you to suffer for what's coming.

Mary would never step foot in a harlot church to begin with.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78008605

Mary Mother of God = MA.RI

MA.RI = "Holy Mother" = Ashteroth, Inanna, Ishtar, Venus, Isis and Kali

The Priestesses of This Goddess of many names were called "Mary" or "Holy Mother" like a Nun.

In charge of Temple Fertility rituals.

Mother Mary, in the New Testament, is a Priestess from Egypt, therefore she was into Isis

Isis = Iesus

Jesus is Isis? No, Jesus is the Son of Isis

Jesus is akin to Horus although I'm not saying Jesus of Nazareth was literally Horus...rather the names and associations of the Astrotheological Christ are intermingled with the Man Jesus of Nazareth, who of course was Yeshua and not "Jesus" at all

Don’t worry about us, friend. Faithful Catholics would joyfully endure persecution rather than sell out to cafeteria-style Protestant theology, corrupted scripture and—most importantly—churches that lack the Eucharistic Presence of Christ.

The Adversary is certainly busy here...you are right about that. He fears and hates the Blessed Mother because of Her God-given power over him. Just look at all the Mary-trashing threads that have been posted in the last couple of days, filled with ignorant, vile, profanity-laced comments, many written by people who claim to be Christians. I would not even think of making such statements about a figure that is considered holy by another person, but it’s open season with the Mother of Jesus. Denigrate Mary and the Church that Christ instituted at your own peril. Wake up, yourselves.

We don't twist scripture, nor do we not recognize who Mary is. The Ten commandments state how we are to live in a nut shell, pretty simple to understand. Why does the Catholic church make graven images and kneel to them? Or any likeness that is in Heaven above. The catholic church is full of statues. The Commandments clearly state not to do that. A CLEAR violation of Gods will.

"To be deep in history is to cease to be a Protestant." -Cardinal John Henry Newman, Catholic convert

We know history very well. Martin Luther had some very valid points in the 95 theses. But to start a completely new religion by his own authority, dividing the Church established by Christ, is just nonsense. He even removed 7 books from the Bible. Yes, your Protestant Bible is missing 7 books. Many Catholics have done bad things, including Popes. Everyone is an imperfect sinner. The Catholic Church had its own reformation at the same time to end practices like collecting indulgences which some Church leaders were doing of their own accord. But the Catholic Church chose the books of the Bible, has defended and taught the truth on faith and morals for 2,000 years, has produced countless people of heroic virtue all over the world, and has the sacraments instituted by Christ (a whole other debate).

Sorry to keep adding on, but speaking of Fatima, what do you think of the miracle of the sun that occurred in Fatima in 1917 and was witnessed by tens of thousands of people? Three shepherd children claimed Mary told them the miracle would occur. An atheist journalist who had come to mock the event said “Either three children just perfectly predicted the most extraordinary natural phenomenon to ever occur, or there is a God.”

Please don't try and deny something that I know for a fact since I was born. People do pray to Mary. It is a common thing. All popes since Paul the 6th, with the exception of John Paul I, have been there and prayed to Mary in public.

You want to talk about hellish doctrines cooked up from the kitchens of hell, talk about that one!

Now do, "Bless me FATHER, for I have sinned."

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." Matthew 23:9

It's not that all Catholics aren't saved, but Rome is against Christ.

They were burning people alive for simply reading the Bible or possessing one. They murdered anyone trying to own a copy or encourage a person to do so. They wanted full control, keeping people from knowing what was in there.

We love you guys, we want you to be set free from this. It's really a bad situation. Please watch the first 5 minutes of this video.

Look at the symbology here, it's occultic and Luciferian. You might be a true Christian but you must flee Rome.

"Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners"

Why would you ask a dead person to pray for you?

Why do you think the faithful departed are “dead”? Didn’t Jesus conquer death and open the Gates of Heaven? Do you believe in eternal life?
