Clearly you are not Catholic and out to instigate trouble around Christmas time! False narrative created by baptists?? Care to back that up with some facts! Baptists don;t even like Mary or recognize her that much

Let me enlighten you:

If you want a miracle you pray to Mary, Mary mother of Miracles was granted a miracle by Jesus upon her request to turn water into wine at a wedding. Jesus did not want to perform a miracle for a bunch of drunks but Mary asked and he said, "Woman, I cannot refuse you!" He will never refuse Mary, YOU yes, but never Mary. So therefore if you want a miracle you go to Mary. The reason Mary knew Jesus had that those alchemy abilities is because Mary and Joseph had just picked up Jesus from his temple studies in the pyramid on the way to the wedding, they had run out of water in the desert but from what Jesus learned Alchemy wise in his studies he was able to make water for them. This is why Mary knew she could ask Jesus to help out at the wedding. Mary loves all her children, put your faith in miracles in Mary. The first thing the Pope does when he enters the church, the very first thing he does is bow down to Mary, The baptists hate this because their whole philosophy in male dominated, I know this from living in Florida
 Quoting: KuvaszLove

And you think this makes it better?

You're a Marionite, not a Christian.

I'm less than Mary? In God's eyes?

7And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it

Think about this.

I believe it is possible that raising Mary to the role of Queen of Heaven as the archetypal "Mother" energy may be classified the unpardonable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. When your heart is continually hardened against the Spirit of Truth it becomes a rocky wasteland in which no seed of truth can be planted fruitfully.

Scriptures seem pretty clear to me that the Divine Feminine role is held wholly by the Spirit of Christ, ie. the Spirit of the LORD, within a seven-fold nature; I think this can be seen clearly in Solomon's personification in the book of Proverbs of Wisdom (one of the seven eyes of the Spirit) and her sisters which the Israelites later twisted into their blasphemous goddess "Queen of Heaven" worship by amalgamated influence of their pagan neighbors practices.

The historical record of Marian worship seems to me to be vary similar to that of post-Solomon Israel/Judah, being brought in during the syncretization of Constantine's rule to reconcile the pagan traditions to whom goddess worship was familiar and integral. This was a great disservice to the widespread clear understanding of the great I AM THAT I AM and his Spirit given freely to indwell all those faithful through the willing sacrifice of his loving Son.

Good verse in reference there; not much they can do to respond to that.

However, I do think the last point they made about baptists, and I'd say protestants in general, having a masculine dominated philosophy is somewhat true. I believe this stems from the entire protestant branch being ultimately sprung from the tree of Catholic doctrines stretching back a millennia and the inherent difficulty in recovering the pure doctrine of the divine femininity of the Spirit from Scriptures while trying to seperate from the glittering deceptions layered over generations around the truth. I often ponder the poignancy of Jesus's statement in Matthew 24:24 “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Re: Catholics do not pray to Mary. It's a negative stereotype and false narrative created by Baptists. I challenge Anyone!
Actually, catholics DO pray to Mother Mary...

Having been raised and educated in the church, I can recall endless hail Mary prayers of the rosary,
the claim of Mary ascension, and feastday celebrations,
May 8th crowning of Mary's statue in church and endless Ave Maria songs and prayers,
Also the claim that Mary is a co-redemptress and co-intercessor.

But enough of the cult's Mary worship... What it and the many other variances from Christian Worship prove is the rcc's Denial Of The Gospel and Father-God's Plan For Mankind...

Ya know... If the rcc actually Loved Father-God and Christ Jesus it would be much more accepting of The Gospel and WHY Christ Jesus Redeemed Us.

There's the Real Denial: Christ Gave HIS Life In Obedience Unto Father's Will, In Order That Men Could Come Unto The Father, BE Born-Again and Live Their Lives In, With, and Through Father-God; NOW and FOREVER!

It would mean acceptance of God's Will and the end of "special" clergy...

Jesus and Father nowhere Ordain that anyone ought come between Us and Father-God. But, accepting God's Will would mean the end of rcc power and wealth.

Thus, faced with losing power and wealth, the rcc chooses to Deny God and HIS Gospel.

Mary was the perfect vessel. Chosen To Birth Christ Jesus.
The greatest honor bestowed on any human being, but like all other humans, she lies dead in her grave until The Resurrection.

It is extremely sad that catholics remain unwilling to accept or even Hear The Gospel... They are indoctrinated to Love Their Church, rather than to Love and Trust God.

As far as OP's opening remarks, catholics pray to all sorts of "saints" to help them in all sorts of causes and purposes. There is likely a saint to pray to for finding a job, just like there's one to find lost objects; and all sorts of other silly daily life events.

Catholicism is not Christianity.

Jesus Witnesses in John 3:7 that "...Ye MUST Be Born-Again" and in John 14:6 that "...No man Cometh Unto The Father but BY ME!"

Those 2 essential verses define Christianity's Purpose. Both are denied by rcc dogma.

Very sad that catholics fear Christianity still, in this late day and age.

Martin Luther stated that he would have reunioned with rome had they only agreed that the purpose of Jesus and The Gospels was to Bring Men Into Personal and Direct Relationship with Father-God. Luther could have found some remedy for the other 94 theses... But of course, rcc fears losing its power and wealth more than anything...

Denial ain't a river in Egypt...

catholics are victimized in so many ways by their dysfunctional clergy... Not only by sodomy and rape of their innocent children. There is sin, and then there is the enablement of sin... Why are priests in this day so overwhelmingly homosexual?

catholic clergy is for sure not serving God in any sort of way.

Think your reprobate homosexual pedophile priest can consecrate the eucharist or forgive sins?

How can such men even pretend to be righteous? Are their very lives not lived in total denial of The Holy Spirit?

Denial of The Holy Spirit is "the unforgiveable sin".
Think any such sinner or dysfunctional enabler of such sinners can be Serving God?

In these Final Days, catholics need to break the bonds of dysfunction and put their reliance directly Upon God.

That's some impressive mental gymnastics you have to do there to print out a literal direct prayer to Mary, ending with Amen and everything, while claiming that you don't pray to Mary. In that particular prayer you may not being praying for redemption, salvation, or direct blessing, but that's beside the point: you are still praying to Mary.

You can act ignorant of the extremes various official Marian sects take their worship of Mary (and yes, in many cases they cross the line over into direct worship), such as the Queen of Heaven doctrines (abominable for so many reasons), but that doesn't take away from the fact that I could very easily find numerous prayer examples from literature approved by the "Holy" See that are quite damning in their heretical professions.

Here's the Hail Mary:

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee." (direct quote from the Angel Gabriel in Sacred Scripture)

"Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." (Direct quote from Mary's cousin Elizabeth in Sacred Scripture)

"Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen." (Asking the Mother of God to pray for us).

Which part do you take issue with? Note that Mary is not deified anywhere in the prayer. Also what's your issue with word amen?

Mary said, while filled with the Holy Spirit, "My soul porclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my savior. For he has looked with favor upon my lowliness, and behold, FROM THIS DAY FORTH ALL GENERATIONS WILL CALL ME BLESSED." Do you call her blessed?

She also said to the Angel Gabriel "Behold the handmaiden of the Lord. Let it be done to me according to your word." Her inspirational example of perfect submission to the will of God allowed our savior to come into the world. Mary is the Mother of our Lord. Show her no respect if you want but I'm not sure how that sits well with someone who loves Jesus.

The hail Mary is the tamest of all examples, and yet is the foot in the door of her further insertion as a pivotal role in individual salvation and redemption. We do not need an intercessor between us and Christ, he is the Intercessor to end all intercessors and we can come directly to him and therefore his Father as he has called us.

It can be seen to be taken yet further in the four Marian antiphons, were she is subtlety inserted more firmly in the redemptive path as an essential spiritual force rather than a historical role model. I don't feel like taking the time to collect exact quotes with source references because I've went down this route before and I know your heart is hardened to hear what I am saying.

As a Catholic, when I read posts like this I'm just moved with pity that people are so misinformed about the Catholic Church, the Church established by Christ. I don't believe you have honestly looked into Catholic Church teaching if you are this ignorant.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67437617

And, as a Catholic, when you read reasonable information that presents eviduciary objections or corrections in a logical manner, your eyes glaze over and you are moved with a spirit of willful ignorance that keeps you perpetually misinformed on the true nature of the Ecclesia established by Christ; a Heavenly Church headed by Jesus as the only truly worthy vicar of the Most High for his Bride with the Holy Spirit, not any institution formed by man, bearing the only true and worthy witness to that glorious union here upon this fallen earth.
 Quoting: Zerubayah

No, your ignorance about the Catholic Church makes me wonder if you were ever even Catholic or if your misinterpretations are intentional. We do not idolize or deify Mary (or the saints) and do not give her a place of respect that is not due to her as the Mother of God. She is called co-redemptrix and co-mediator because her perfect submission to the will of God is the reason our savior was able to come into the world. Her action brought about our eternal salvation.

You call the Church a cult that denies the Gospel and does not love God the Father. The statement that "Catholicism is not Christianity" is a falsehood born in the depths of Hell. You say that the Catholic clergy is not serving God. You vitriolically insult Catholic priests, most of whom are selfless men of virtue that serve their congregation, because of the sins of a few. Your post is beyond ignorant, it's just offensive.

Martin Luther would have reunited with Rome if Rome had agreed that the Church wasn't necessary? Wow! You don't say! Tell me why Martin Luther removed 7 books from the Bible (the books of which were chosen by the Catholic Church) and by whose authority he founded a new denomination and divided the Body of Christ, which is in and of itself an un-Christian act (the Catholic Church was established when Jesus gave the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to Peter and said "You are rock and upon this rock I build my Church." The Catholic Church traces itself in an unbroken line back to Peter).

To end your rant you accuse Catholics of denying the Holy Spirit? See, this is why I say you know nothing about the Catholic Church. Be very sure you're right. Imagine saying what you're saying about the Church established by Christ, the bride of Christ, a hospital for sinners and Christ's chosen means of dispensing his graces.

Re: Catholics do not pray to Mary. It's a negative stereotype and false narrative created by Baptists. I challenge Anyone!
"Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

Jesus directs us to ask the Father directly. He even states that HE will NOT ask/request of the Father for us, so why would Mary??

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I DO NOT SAY say unto you, that I will ask/request the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

They don't. I'm Catholic so I know firsthand.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 67437617

Jesus CLEARLY showed us WHO TO pray TO.

Matthew 6

9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.

10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.

13 And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Luke 11

1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Once and for all, for the record Catholics do not pray to Mary. They don't ask Mary to forgive them of their sins, they don't ask Mary to help them get a new job, they don't worship Mary as their savior, they don't think Mary is the only way to heaven, they pray that Mary heals their cancer, they don't pray to Mary to bless them...

As you can see below, this is exactly what they say to Mary,

"Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen"

It's no different than asking your neighbor to pray for you. Or the saying, "You're in my Prayers," or how about telling a friend "Dang I was diagnosed with Cancer, pray for me please."

When Baptists say Catholics are hell bound because they pray to Mary, it's because they are repeating a stereotype without doing proper research. Instead of focusing on Mary they should focus on their own heretic doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved bullcrap. Some of these Baptists are so prideful, I heard a boastful sermon from a Pastor that said he never repents because Jesus died on the cross and there's no need to repent.

You want to talk about hellish doctrines cooked up from the kitchens of hell, talk about that one!

The "call no man Father" argument is one of the more pathetic attacks I see against the Catholic Church on here. Jesus calls people who aren't God "Father" numerous times. St. Paul does as well. St. Stephen, the first martyr, does so in his famous testimony before the Sanhedrin. Catholics understand what verses mean. Protestants interpret them in whatever way makes them right and Catholics wrong.

Got banned from an online prayer group because I mentioned The St Anne Novena to another member. A novena is a request to St Anne (Mary's Mother) to pray for you.

They said it was pagan to pray to idols and against the rules!

Seriously, being banned from a prayer group because of a Catholic prayer feels so very wrong!

Re: Catholics do not pray to Mary. It's a negative stereotype and false narrative created by Baptists. I challenge Anyone!
I cant say where she is from or what she is but the entity some call the mother the virgin Mary is real. I had watched a video about her and miracles performed all over the earth. I was very sick with a bad infection and I pray and prayed to her. The video inspired me. I had a raging headache and was very weak I was headed to the hospital the next day. I went to sleep feeling nauseous and not good. I prayed directly to her and asked her for her healing. I do not lie , I woke the next day feeling much better and I did not go to the hospital. I thanked her in prayer and thoughts of appreciation. Then I noticed something the healing went further than I expected. I have a slight limp from some hip and connective tissue issues in my right hip are. My limp was gone. The pain that caused me to flinch when I walked was gone. I still have a little tightness but no pain.

I am a spiritualist and do not like the Catholic Church and its Popes too much but the Virgin Mary is the real deal and even she is very critical of the Catholic Church. The entity is real the energy that healed me was real. Did I heal my self well yes some was me but the thing that got it going was my request my prayer to the virgin Mary and may she bless all because she delivered. The mother superior gave me the energy to heal my serious infection. Mother Superior jumped the gun was playing in my mind when I prayed to her and the following line made and her laugh. Happiness is a warm gun bang bang shoot shoot. Happiness is being aware that the supernatural is real and that there are energy beings willing to help you in time of need. Open heart and open mind leads to your soul root where it is easy to connect to them.

Mary of Bethany will be resurrected as the wife of Jesus. The male Clergy are doing their very best to keep the lid on God having a woman write two books that are as important to the Bible as the Torah is. Her 'mentor' was greater than Moses to take heed to what she has to say.
(that would be Mary of Bethany in the Fatima vision)

I was raised baptist. The way they treated Catholics is part of why I couldn’t tolerate them anymore. Friends who came to church were treated terribly because they were catholic. Now you’ll hate to hear it, but I’m Wiccan now and sometimes go to church with my catholic husband. I find much more in common with Wicca than I do with my baptist upbringing.
