"Hail Mary" in and of itself is a call out to Mary. Since she is dead the only way she can receive this communication is if she has been deified otherwise there is no communication between the living and the dead.

Mary is a dead human that was blessed to birth God in the flesh but she can't talk to you while you are in this world and you can't talk to her.
