NO! Obviously not! No Catholic believes this! The church as a whole (the body of all Christians) is supposedly protected by the Holy Spirit from getting serious doctrinal errors on matters of faith and morals... the “gates of hell” will not prevail against it... Matthew 16:18. But it doesn’t and can’t completely prevent error and sin of human beings due to free will, including the Pope. So since more and more “errors” and downright evil are becoming more prevelant in ALL christian churches you can be sure we are near the end... God won’t allow it... so will intervene.
