What does Jesus save us from?

He is that little nightlight in a pitch black moon, the flashlight when you are lost in the woods. The hope when everything is fighting against you and you just can't cope anymore. He is that joy when something goes your way. He is that coincidence that appears when the stars align just the right way.

He shows you the silver lining when things fall apart. He gives you gratitude when you are at your lowest. He gives you a friend to lean on and pour your heart to when you are alone.

He saves you from your darker self, the voice inside of you that tells you, that you can't make it anymore. That everything is meaningless. He shows you the little things in life that are to be enjoyed and appreciated.

The Parable of the Leaven
32Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” 33He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.” 34Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables. He picks you up, when you can't go no more. He is that still small voice inside of you telling you to keep going, to keep fighting, to keep believing.

Hell.

Hell is exactly what your going through in moments like these. Not a psychical hell, but a mental hell. When you are tired, frustrated, and hopeless.

Jesus did not incarnate as a man to be brutally murdered

because you feel tired, frustrated and hopeless.

Jesus Christ died so that you don't have to go to hell like you deserve.

Who taught you this? Your dad? Your mom? The preacher that has been taught and indoctrinated in theology school? He preaches for a living, for money to survive.

Jesus was born of God and the Holy Spirit. Telling people to repent or else suffer and be tortured is Fear, and controlling.

When you read the scriptures and think of fear and punishment, and always cling to the idea of Hell, you are being taught by Satan, not Jesus. You are being taught out of fear and obedience. Not love, forgiveness, and peace. He was killed and murdered, not for us to be saved. But to be shown that true love forgives even when you are being tortured and murdered. He used the cross as an example, that Jesus had perfect love, and followed what he preached, to turn the other cheek. To not have an "eye for an eye" attitude. He not only spoke and taught the truth, HE LIVED IT.

Hell is a place, its unpleasant. But everybody imagine's hell as TORTURE PHYSICAL PAIN. It's a place of sorrow and regret. They hate themselves because they missed out. They still have pride that doom's them, and their pride makes them think they deserve to be with the Lord. But because they didnt make it they hate god with passion. With Fire. A lake of fire. They gain all this wisdom and see what god's true message was.

Jesus gives us the waters of life, the wisdom of life. To love each other and help each other. To teach the gospel.

Water is wisdom,
fire is passion.

hence a lake of fire. Where we see the meaning of Jesus's teaching, and we reject his teaching and hate his teaching.
His teaching says physical wealth and power won't mean a damn thing. In the book of Ecclessiastes Solomon says nothing new is done under the sun, our wealth and memory (fame) means nothing.

In hell they will hate god with a passion knowing his teaching and reject them, feeling as if their interpretation was better.

Jesus spoke in PARABLES.

Where do you draw your wisdom from? From what people have taught you? From what you have read? Or have you for years and years seeked out god in something other than the Bible. Only to return to the bible and see that what Jesus taught was true. Only people twist its meaning.

To the Church in Laodicea
…16So because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to vomit you out of My mouth! 17You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. 18I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, white garments so that you may be clothed and your shameful nakedness not exposed, and salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see.…

So if i take things the literal way, i guess Jesus wants me to buy literal Gold. Literal wealth.

I counsel you to go through the fire's of passion of seeking out god, through the suffering and disappointment of seeing the deception and lies. The hopelessness that life is meaningless, that I don't deserve to know the truth. The fires of life. The trials and tribulations.

Have you been through the fire? Have you been tried and testing, have you persecuted your own soul and your beliefs? Have you dropped your pride, and admitted that you don't understand, and honestly asked for a teacher a guide. Have you refused to learn from men, to only be taught by spirit.

That is when your eyes begin to open, and you learn. And after a while, this passion, this divine spark in you becomes a blaze, and you WANT to go preach the gospel, and heal the sick among us.
