When we respond anger with anger, we attack a person, we bring them down to exalt ourselves, increasing our pride. pride causes us to blind ourselves and become fools, hardening our hearts. If we respond with love, we convict that person, and they release their anger on themselves, destroying their own pride slowing, which opens their eyes.
