Its almost impossible to get a decent frozen pizza these days. Some of the deep dish stuff is not bad. Even pizza hut isnt the same anymore. Maybe my taste buds are shot.

Because OP is proud of saving money only spending 3.50 for a pizza. When in reality he is doing x10 more damage to his health.
And at another time, when they raised a question about fortifications, he said that a city is not unfortified whose crowning glory is men and not bricks and stones.

It's really inexpensive to make that type of pizza crust from scratch, the thin and hard type of pizza crust does not require rising.

Agree. And there are recipes online like this one:

And when you make a pizza from scratch you can buy high-quality mozzarella cheese instead of the plastic shit they put on the frozen box pizza. A Moran can make their own pizza from scratch easily.

20-25 years ago, Red Baron's crust would melt in your mouth. It was crunchy, but it was the best part of the pizza besides the pepperoni.

At some point, they changed the recipe of the crust, and I think the sauce too. Either to cut costs, or whatever. And its never been the same.

I can't stand their pizzas anymore. And it used to be the best, highest quality frozen pizza money could buy. Just about any other brand is better.

Digiorno pan pizza is pretty good for frozen pizza.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77797825

Yeah, but for $10 you might as well order out.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78213984

Where I live delivery is like $10 for a small pizza + a $5 delivery fee
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77797825

Just go pick it up.

It's not like Digiorno delivers so adding a delivery charge isn't a fair comparison.

Carry out ftw.

No delivery fee and no tip.

Dominoes, pizza hut, and papa johns all have $7.99 deals.

Re: Warning, Red Baron Thin Crust pizza is more like a cracker.
Red Baron is one of the best pizzas.. Not just frozen pizzas, but the best freshest tasting available in America. Better than the Hut Domino's and a lot of chain pizzas, better than and healthier than digornos and other frozen crap. If you dont like thin crust maybe buy a different version? Of course everyone has their own pizza preferences but for $3.50 it tastes a lot fresher than what I get for $25 from local Italian restaurants with "educated" culinary school chefs with tattoos up and down their arms or from national chains for a whole hellava lot less money.. I'm not knocking anyone's tastes but.. Maybe try buying it from a different store? A local mom-n-pop (notice how it's mom-n-pop & not dad-n-dad or some other modern bullshit) store might treat their frozen products better than some twit making minimum wage at walmart as a career who hates their job and doesn't give a fuck about the product nor customer. Just my opinion, every hard working American deserves food they find tasty.

Those places exist because of people who won't make time to learn how to cook. The secret ingredients are mono-sodium glutamate, sugar, and salt.

You can get better pizza with a pizza pan, recipe, and your own oven.

I buy a 4-pack of an off-brand at Sam's Club and then a bag of sliced pepperoni.

I cover every inch with the extra pepperoni which makes all the difference.

Restaurants exist because people are too lazy to make their own food. And nope, you can make a FAR superior pizza at home in your own kitchen (compared to any of those restaurants you mentioned), because they use the cheapest ingredients available so they can make a bigger profit. Have faith in yourself - you can make great pizza from scratch and save money while eating superior pizza.

I am surprised he never came back after the lifting of the bans.

I think I actually saw him a few weeks ago. It was at the corner of Missouri Ave and West Bay. Largo city park was on the other side of the road. It was raining and there is this moran standing on the corner talking to his camera on his phone.

I was really tempted to roll down the window and yell, "Party People". But then I was stuck at a red light and worried I might end up having that weirdo approach my car.
