I supported his useless ass for years and then had enough. Tried dating and my first question was always "are you employed." Most were "between jobs." The ones who were employed made significantly less than me and you could see them sizing up the house that I owned outright just waiting to take advantage of me. (And no, that house did not come from any money from my first husband. I did a deal with him--I got what was mine in exchange for me not pressing charges.) I teach college and the men are falling further and further behind the women. They lack discipline, tenacity, and smarts. It's sad. First of all, someone does not “teach college.” College is not something you teach. One teaches courses in college. Yo would know that if you weren’t lying, and had attended college at some point. Secondly, A large portion those “men” you reference in you last paragraph had no fathers in their life to raise them right, and their position in life is a result of being raised by single mothers. |
