cats use their ears more than their eyes in the daytime so if its looking at the wall it ear is pointed at the sound.

I once had three cats. It was christmas eve. I was living at the time right next to a cemetery but never had any problems with the neighbors. So about 9pm or so, the three cats were just sitting in the living room as me and the mrs. watched some teevee. All of a sudden, all three freaked out like cats freak out. They all went to the top of the stairs together and were staring at the recliner that no one was sitting in. They were ducking behind each other and a wall to look at it from a distance. That shit lasted about 5 minutes and then they all came back downstairs but walking like they were on the moon or something.

Those cats saw something there and us humans didn't. There is shit floating about around us and we have no idea. We need better tech to figure out what it is.
