Makes this article a little more intriguing, does it not? The Queen did not wear her crown for the Queen's Speech for the first time in 43 years [ link to www.mirror.co.uk (secure)] Perhaps she passed several days ago... and of course they would not place the crown on the head of a body double. They gave it its own car.
