“My goal is to get elected—but I plan to be the last American president to be elected by the Electoral College. I want my second term to be elected by direct vote,” Warren said during a campaign event in Marion, Iowa, on Sunday.

Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution regulates the electoral college process.

To pass an amendment requires state and congressional approval.

Elizabeth Warren doe not have that power to declare a new amendment.

To be fair, the electoral college is dumb (just like the lack of term limits for Congress/senate). Its purpose is obsolete and the only reason you would support it is if it benefits your party (a short sighted perspective)
