I believe this as my dad was prescribed statins and they made him ill so he stopped taking them but not long after was diagnosed with ALS and died less than a year after. Research suggests that the statins strip away co enzyme Q-10 from cells or prevent the cells from producing it, cells need CO enzyme Q-10 survive and maintain normal function and growth.

So I believe the statins cost my dad his life.
