Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78128917 You mean, like this grifter? Judge Says Trump Must Pay $2 Million Over Misuse Of Foundation Funds A New York judge has ruled that President Trump must pay $2 million in damages to settle claims that the Trump Foundation misused funds. The money will go to a group of charities, and the foundation is in the process of dissolving. The case is tied to a televised fundraiser for veterans held by Trump in Iowa when he was running for president in January 2016. Trump had said the funds raised would be distributed to charities. But according to court documents, the Trump Foundation improperly used $2.82 million it received from that fundraiser. "The Trump Foundation has shut down, funds that were illegally misused are being restored, the president will be subject to ongoing supervision by my office, and the Trump children had to undergo compulsory training to ensure this type of illegal activity never takes place again," said the New York Attorney. The Trump Foundation agreed to dissolve last December in the face of an investigation from then-New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood. She accused the foundation of a broad pattern of illegal activity, including improper political activities and "repeated and willful self-dealing transactions." [link to www.npr.org (secure)] |

Duncan Hunter, an early Trump supporter, will plead guilty to campaign finance violations, resign from Congress House Ethics Committee informs Duncan Hunter he can no longer vote after guilty plea The House Ethics Committee Thursday informed Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) that he can no longer vote in the House of Representatives after pleading guilty to misusing campaign funds. The ethics panel sent Hunter a letter telling him that his guilty plea triggered a House rule saying that any member convicted of a crime that could receive a prison sentence of two or more years “should refrain from voting on any question at a meeting of the House…unless or until judicial or executive proceedings result in reinstatement of the presumption of innocence…or until the Member is reelected to the House after the date of such conviction.” Hunter, who changed his plea in federal court in San Diego Tuesday, faces up to five years in prison and is scheduled to be sentenced on March 17. He was present for votes on Wednesday but did not vote on Thursday [link to thehill.com (secure)] |

Trump is NEVER going to testify. He will pretend and say he wants to testify..but he never will. He will talk himself into a jail cell. |
