If people knew they would plan their escape.

Various weather, gps, military, nasa and gravity mapping satellites have polar orbits. Clearly passing over the poles with electronics is not impossible.

Go check. These dont go directly over the poles.

2. This post has nothing to do with flat earth nonsense. I simply wanted to know if other people had also heard about censorship above a certain parallel.
A comment on page one mentioned that there's little info on anywhere above the 60th parallel, and perhaps 60 was the number I was thinking of.

Regardless, this post is not about flat earth, satellite existence arguments, etc. It is about lack of imagery at certain latitudes.

Try zooming in anywhere on Northern Greenland for example: pixelated beyond belief.

OP, like many others, are afraid of their world view being challenged. People who consider anything outside of what thenFreemasons put in the text books are,called names, like Flat Earthers.

The earth is not flat. If you want to argue about that, here's a hint: the earth is toroidal. Anyways, this thread is about what lies beyond the forbidden parallel. If you want to try to get people on your flat earth bandwagon, please start a new thread on that subject.

yep, They said the same thing to the people during the time of Colombus, they said he was just going to fall off the earth to scare people. Now they scare people from going to the vast lands past the south poles.

You gotta see the video of those pyramids and the ice structure in that South Pole link. They're incredible.

The military footage from video #3 ( [link to youtu.be (secure)] is amazing... I've researched this stuff for years and I've never seen that footage.

Video #2 also had a few photos I had never seen. I really liked the heat signature one of the North Pole and the radar image of Antarctica.

Reading through some of the comments, I can understand why millennials will be first to perish in post-EMP world. They couldn't find their way out of a paper bag without a zombie-phone.

1. Geo-synchronous satellites are positioned around the Earth's equator at a distance of 22,250 mi (36,000 km). This allows them to remain "stationary" because of it's the circumference and rotation rate of the Earth at its equator.

2. Placing payloads into a polar orbit is more expensive. The Earth rotates at around 1,000 mi (1,600 km)/hr at its equator. Space agencies use this rotational energy to get payloads into orbit. The closer your launch to the equator, the more you can use this energy. That's why most satellites (ISS too) orbits are usually between 60N/60S latitudes. It's called PHYSICS.

3. There are satellites with polar orbits, including commercial satellites. You want pics of the Arctic/Antarctic regions contact them. NASA also has them, but I know most on here won't accept them as genuine.

4. Russia and US have nuclear subs that navigate and are stationed in Arctic region. They navigate primarily using inertial based navigation systems. GPS and most radio transmissions don't propagate that far under the water.

5. Oil companies even have sub-surface surveys of oil fields under the Arctic Ocean. Russia has a big military presence there to claim them, just like China has done to the South China Sea. Both are considered by UNCLOS as "international waters".

Gravity gets weird near the funnels of the torus. Check for the "dot" at the center of poles in photographs. Usually looks like a big sticker. Also note the hexagon formation.

You'll never see detailed satellite footage from those areas because they would show evidence of past civilizations from when the Arctic and Antarctica were positioned in warmer climates, before the pole shifts and crustal displacements.

TPTB struggle enough with serving believable lies about how old the various pyramids and other ancient monuments are. In reality they're far older than you'd think.
