Years ago, I used to patrol the Israeli - Lebanese border.

The fence was only 8 feet high with barbed wire on top. It wasn't electrified but it was alarmed. If someone tried to climb it, an alarm went off and we would rush to the scene to kill whoever had set it off.

Crossing attempts were rare.

Almost anyone could get up and down that wall in groups with a couple of ropes. The first person has to be the climber to get to the ladder, then everyone else can get up the ladder and down the other side.

And 90% of those are decent people. I ate at an Indian restaurant today that looked like the kitchen was all hispanics. They keep the door open to the kitchen all day so you can see in there. The food is amazing, it's one of the few places I've been to over a dozen times. All over town they have jobs I wouldn't do and work their ass off.
