Trump no question looked into Biden's poor behavior for no other reason than to test the waters for political gain. He used his Presidency in a way to influence others to help his case.

If Trump truly believed Biden's personal political gain should be investigated he would have made this request prior to Joe Biden entering the 2020 race. That said, he did not withhold aid, he did not quit pro quo. Now if the Intelligence Committee had waited months to see if the aid would have actually been withheld beyond a 30 day review it may have been he committed a crime.
