Re: Today's art
Although outrageously priced, I believe it's intended to be satirical ... going bananas for a-peeling art.

Furthermore, there are whispered rumors in the elitist avant-garde art world that he's planning to auction as a follow-up an empty canvas in early 2020 starting at $180K called "Where is it? The banana-split."

Lettuce know what you think.

BTW...

What if all that "liberal art" that makes no sense at all is just a way to receive a payoff?

"Book deals" are a well known front for stuffing corrupt morons with cash, every well known leftist gets an outrageous "book deal" that pays in full even if nothing sells, and now, a new item has taken the cake:

In "liberal art" land, some moron who obviously was only receiving a payoff for something took 3 bananas to the museum, taped them to the wall one at a time with a $120, 000 price tag each, and sold all 3.

took 3 bananas to the museum, taped them to the wall one at a time with a $120, 000 price tag each, and sold all 3.

I don't know why this stuff is not investigated, there's absolutely no question the banana trick was fronted for a payoff. Normal bananas. That would spoil in less than a week. $120, 000 each. YEP.

I tried to see if this was satire and evidently it is not, "art" is now clearly being used as a front for payoffs, be real careful of what you take seriously!

Cmon

Gallery owner Emmanuel Perrotin, who has worked with Cattelan for more than 25 years, dismissed the idea that the artwork is a joke, telling Artnet that every aspect of the work was carefully considered, from the shape of the fruit, to the angle it has been fixed with duct tape to the wall, to its placement.

So he's part of whatever it is they're doing, as someone already said, probably selling kids.
Question is how many kids they get for that amount,
Police should go check the cellars and secret rooms of the buyers.

Symbolism of the Banana:

Banana is a fruit of energy... It is also a symbol of money and signifies your savings... There are many more things to know about Banana dreams...

Bananas are tasty fruits, thus, these relate the good and essential things in life, such as relations, love, apparels and many more...

Bananas are also mainly related to fetus and fertility... If you dream of bananas, then you are facing some fertility issues or lack of sexual pleasures in life... These are also related to health... For instance, if a person who is unwell finds himself eating a banana in dream, it means that either the illness will get worse or will be irrecoverable...

Seeing a banana tree in dream conveys a lot more deeper meaning related to the sexual desires... The condition and shape of the banana also denotes different meanings... Check the color of the banana whether it was yellow or green... Yellow and ripe bananas indicate good health, happiness and good times... On the other hand, green bananas indicate new hopes and new opportunities in life...

Art industry is a scam. It's money laundering. These people can deduct it on income tax and insurance.

But "Art" did make Nightly News.

Meanwhile MBS owns DaVince's portrait of Jesus Saviour of the World. Why would an Islamic Prince own a Christian painting? Because he paid 500 million for it and has intention to wipe Christianity off the face of the planet.

Yes i followed this
"Salvator Mundi" hasn't been seen in public since that evening in November 2017 (when it was sold in the auction).
Its whereabouts have become the source of intense speculation after the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which had previously announced it would display the painting, last year postponed the grand unveiling without explanation. 15 june 2019

My thoughts exactly! Most so called art aka bad art is involved in something crooked when it goes for thousands or millions of dollars despite no real artistic skill being shown in the work. Nobody is going to spend the time, energy and quality material to make actual good art when it will only be used for crooked purposes and then discarded. Artists become attached to art they have labored over and most certainly wouldn't want it thrown away once purchased. You can bet no one hangs these bad ugly works of art on any private wall. I bet it goes straight into the garage can once the money is laundered.

Yes, there is a whole industry supporting it, and as a powerful industry it is linked to other powerful industries ... all of which contribute to the corruption and dehumanization of life. Art, on its highest level, has a sacred task - to uplift the vibration on this earth. Instead, it is encouraging degeneration and stupidity.

The industry is huge. One person who managed to con this industry is the German painter Beltracchi, ( [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] who produced "missing paintings" and sold them for millions. He was only found out, after selling 300 paintings, because there was 2 percent titanium white in one of the paintings (titanium white did not exist in the period the painting was supposed to date from).

I was wondering about that, who is so stupid to spend any money on this kind of "art". But there is a whole industry that supports it and says how great it is.
