I live in Vancouver, BC and it is getting worse and worse every year. Their demands are high, but pay is low. Only decent jobs are government ones but very hard to get in sometimes. But hey, we have a gay parade every year tho.

Everything is very high in my area. About 2k CAD a month for 1 bedroom apt, in some areas cheaper. As for buying one, you need to have around a mil to buy a decent place in here to live. I don't know how people live here getting paid minimum wage or a bit above it. You need to make around 35-40$/h for a decent life here.
