If the people in Hong Kong don't want to live under communist control, that's all good and well, but one drop of American blood spilt over there is one drop too many. Who said that it's our job to spread democracy? I bet you even believe that we're a democracy. I would suggest rereading the constitution, and notice how many times democracy is mentioned. Look up what the founders of this country said about democracy. Once you've done that look up what they said about getting involved in foreign entanglements. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be too fond of the idea. If you want a real world example of that, then look how much we helped during the French Revolution. There's no way in hell they would have approved of getting involved in HK. Come on and take a free ride. |
