I guess her reply was clever, but ultimately wrong. Even the slaves were paid with room and board. Being a construction worker getting paid to build houses isn't comparable to being a piece of meat surviving by having sex with disgusting men wanting to abuse you because something went wrong in your childhood to make the prostitute choose that profession. While I don't have an issue with what consenting adults do, women who have sex for money have mental issues stemming from childhood's abuse. Asking them to fill a role in society to exploit their abuse and mental illness is pretty disgusting and horrifically sexist.

So I'm assuming you don't work and live off benefits, stealing money from of all the prostitutes. So what do you propose as an alternative to working? Explain to me how our country would function if no one worked. Explain to me how you'd be using your phone and connecting your LTE provider's network if no one worked. Explain to me how humans would be alive today if they never worked. Please. Can you? And yes, I'm assuming a lot because over 90% of sex workers were sexually abused.
