Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70582123 That would be because, according to a policy order from the Navy Installations Command, the base -- and others like it -- are gun-free zones. Apparently, for the safety and security of the men and women who defend us, those same men and women are stripped of their Second Amendment rights in their day-to-day activities on-site. In fact, "state issued 'concealed weapons permits' are not recognized on any Navy installation," the policy order says. We trust these men and women with our lives each and every day. They are our first line of defense against threats foreign and domestic. And we don't even trust them to conceal loaded firearms on base? [link to www.wnd.com (secure)] No longer a safe place to enlist to be in, not even in their own Nation are they safe. Too many have been stranded out there and left to be killed. Sick of it. If not for being caught trying to re-enter the barricks he was assigned to, and yes, he was allowed to be signed up to our Marines, he would killed all of them there and came armed to do it. We have seen this over and over while the politicians trust such no matter how many they kill, or attempt to kill, they still bring them in on us. We pay for this not them.
