Most juries know cops lie on the stand and in police reports as a matter of policy, usually through personal experience of friends and family who ahve been persecuted...generally people dislike and mistrust cops...if you ever get any kind of charge with cops as the only witness to said offense, demand a quick jury trial and don't give up by plea bargaining.

Even if you cant afford a lawyer and get a court appointed sell out and your lawyer throws you under a bus one or two of the jurors will realize what is going on. Also you have the right to co-represent yourself and question anyone involved in the case yourself...
unless there re credible witnesses or incontrovertible evidence at lest one out of twelve citizens will side with the citizen over the system and hang the jury, especially if you impeach their integrity with a rational explanation of why you are being persecuted
