I lived in a upper middle class/wealthy area. We had a meth house next door full of well connected tennants living in it. These people all had criminal records and were suspects in nefarious stuff in other areas. They were well connected to local wealthy families, police etc. Half the block moved because of that house. The police did nothing, told us to move and that they would arrest us if called again. Some of the people in that house were convicted felons and there were guns in the house. I've seen local police out in restaurants/bars, fall down drunk openly talking about how they hassle and trick the public and their gegenral hatred for the people in their towns. They are all young thugs hopped up on steroids and your best bet is to never have to deal with them.
