Retailers assume we'll buy more if they blast music. Quite the opposite effect for some. Ear Plugs will keep me focused and shopping longer. Then Christmas rolls around and every single brand new pop sensation screams out the standards as if forced to do so. Jeez, Louise.

It's like wearing cologne or perfume as an attractant, then smearing the person you're trying to attract with it and now they smell, too. Run away, run away...
