There's more contamination with salads when eating out than meat.... Only time I ever got sick was from salad...

I avoid anything uncooked myself, and tend towards mom and pop places where the staff seem happy.

If you have a deep freezer, it's worth it to drive out to the countryside and buy from a farmer. The place I go to - all grass fed organic etc. is pound for pound no more expensive than a chain grocer's.

The Chinese restaurants in Madrid take their veggies and other expired merchandises (dairy, fruit, meat etc.) every night from the big markets trash bins. It's a real mafia near to that trash bins.

Me and a friend went to a new Chinese resturant to try them out. Ordered the stir fry. There was a bug in the stir fry, so we called the owner over and his response was, "You eat, bug have protein!

These people must have been fresh off the boat from China.
They will eat anything there.

I agree. I don't hate them, but their standards are completely different from ours, and obviously much lower. MUCH lower. We no longer insist that immigrants abide by OUR laws, standards, customs - we just allow them to do whatever they want, which means....we are bringing the Third World in here and turning the USA into the Third World.
