I had fun for 4 1/2 years drag racing that yellow torpedo boat down Broadway in the Glen Park section of Gary ! I gave it to my younger brother, but my parents convinced him to get rid of it. The absolutely best car I ever had, was my 1983 Buick Electra Park Avenue. I was big, fast, and went through snow like a plow.I really miss that car. If a jerk didn't hit me and total it, I would still be driving it. I am happy with what I got now, a 1995 Lincoln Town Car Elite, one owner, in mint condition,garage kept and low miles. Big, fast, and a comfortable ride ! When I hit the gas, it will throw you back in the seat !  Ohhh come now Tigs, that 6000 lb Tuna Boat is so sloooow it's your false 'irrational exuberance' knee jerk lean forward reaction that smacks you backwards when that BARGE finally drifts free of it's anchor dock.  The big V8 in the Lincoln is like having a rocket for an engine ! You don't realize you are going that fast, as the ride is super smooth ! I am surprised I have not got a speeding ticket yet, LOL !!! Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

You just got to experience this car ! Not only can this Lincoln fly, it is gorgeous ! It has a deep red leather interior, and a bright red outside ! On a side note, I never thought I would get a car like this. I was actually looking for another truck or a big SUV, as my old truck ended up at a junkyard.I don't like Fords, and I don't like red cars.I went to look at a dealers inventory, after narrowing my search online.I felt the prices were too high, as the mileage on the vehicles were really too much for the year. Then I spotted a bright red vehicle, the Lincoln. It had just been brought in by a family of a gentleman who was pushing 90, and couldn't drive anymore.I sat in it and started it up, and that was it !!! It was the vehicle for me ! I had prayed before I went on the search. I totally believe that God would direct me to the right vehicle for me. I could almost hear God laugh, as He set me up for a vehicle that was a brand I would never drive, and a color that I didn't like, LOL !!! God is Faithful and True ! The Lincoln cost me less than what I paid for the truck 4 years ago. It was only $3,000.It is insured for $10,000 as it is an exceptional vehicle. It honestly still looks like new ! Every time I go out to my car to go somewhere, I thank God for this car !!! I still can't believe that I am driving such a nice car ! It is perfect inside and out ! Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |
