Letting my Light Shine (Parables/Spiritual Discernment)
The Purpose of Jesus' Parables
…12Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. 13This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’ 14In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.…

People will have scriptures, but not understand them and see the meaning in the scriptures. They will take it too literal. Those who hear, will see the meaning, and rejoice and live by it.

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Our we supposed to eat Jesus's literal bread, and drink his literal blood. Hell no.

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

The bread he is talking about is the scriptures. The Old Testament/Torah in his day. They were stones, words on paper. The mouth of God, is not God's literal spoken word. What do we use our mouth's for, We eat, speak, and kiss people with it.

When we eat bread, read scriptures/study the message, speak - live the message, express our beliefs, and kiss people, teach others the message, show people how to live our lives.

Now lets go to the miracle of Jesus feading thousands with bread and fish.

7 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

Back in those days, it was hard to attain scripture. So people who had a few verses. Jesus did not feed with literal bread and fish. He fed with scriptures to teach a message, kind of like how I'm trying to do. The fish were people testimony, and changing people's hearts. Men and woman are the fish. Blindly swimming, eating whatever doctrine is placed in front of them. Some have hooks and catching people's hearts and minds, other food temporarily feeds them until they are hungry again (desiring God/truth/love)

The First Disciples
18As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” 20And at once they left their nets and followed Him.

Now lets go to the blood of Christ.

Blood was used as a sacrifice for God. jewish used Animals. mainly Lambs/Goats and Bulls.

Again this is symbolism.
A lamb is somebody sincere, follows a teacher/guide for support and learning. (think of Moses, led by God to free the slaves)
A goat has sure footing, somebody who is determined to do the right thing (think of Solomon)
A bull is somebody who attacks lies and exposes false doctrine (think of elijah)

Revelation 16:6
For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink as they deserve.
"

The life purpose of the saints and prophets is to live for God and spread the message. People take advantage of this and spill the blood (make it have no meaning, no effect on others by teaching false doctrine, and spreading fear).

Blood gives life, it is the life force of all creatures.
Think of Jesus's Blood as his life, the purpose of his life, what gave his life meaning. Drink his Blood, Live your life as he lived his life.
His body/bread is his teaching, his message. To love each other and to forgive each other. To turn the other cheek, not to respond anger with anger and get revenge.

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

The fruit of the vine, is the effects that his teachings and life had on other people. The vine is Christianity, and the fruit is the people who truly follow the teaching .(Hence jesus will be inside of you)

Joel 2:28
And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

To the Church in Laodicea
…19Those I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be earnest and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me. 21To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

He stands at the door (your heart). If you hear his voice, (knowing something is wrong with your definition of love, he will come into your heart, he will get to know you, and you will get to know him. To the people who is victorious, (overcoming human's definition of love and know what Divine perfect love is). Hence sitting one his throne with him.

Grace and Perseverance
…11This is a trustworthy saying: If we died with Him, we will also live with Him
(knowing our life has meaning, and see the beauty of true love); 12if we endure (turn the other cheek), we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us; (If we deny love, love will deny us) 13 if we are faithless, (not sincere) He remains faithful (he remains sincere to us) , for He cannot deny Himself.

If we died with him, Loved like he did, and endured all the haters attacks we will reign with him. Love like he did
.
Love Comes from God
…17In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him. 18There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. 19We love because He first loved us.

Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Abraham didn't literally try to kill his son. He was willing to NOT teach his son, what he learned, and let the spirit of God teach his son, like it had taught him.

That was Abraham's sacrifice.

Sorry - I disagree with that azzumption.

Abraham had done some wishy-washy things.

So Father God decided to test Abraham's willingness to OBEY.

And I have no doubt the lesson wasn't lost on Isaac either.

Re: Letting my Light Shine (Parables/Spiritual Discernment)
Abraham climbed a mountain.....he seeked out god and kept seeking....climbing the mountain of false doctrine, and kept climbing till he got to the peak where the true doctrine was.

He tied up his son (taught him scriptures, molded his childlike mind(kind of like how we are tied up today when our parents force us into churches.), and meaning of life on an altar (on a certain belief, a certain seed, a root of love and fearing god), and he held a knife (a teaching that would open Isaac's eyes to suffering and vanity of man's worship of idols and teaching, and putting the fellow man down to build yourself up (which would KILL Isaac's childlike behavior and innocence, hence the knowledge of good and evil, teaching right from wrong.). A ram appeared (a surefooted, determined individual, who climbed the mountain, studied and sought out gods will (think of Solomon)), so instead of sacrificing Issac's life (his innocence of love and purity as a child to god) he sacrificed the Ram to god.

In those days, the OT describes sacrifices as animals.
Bulls, lambs, sheeps, oxes's sparrows, etc. These were not literal animals sacrified to god. The blood required, is symbolic to people's lives. Their meanings. Thats why jesus says his blood covers us up. His life.

Oxes - John the Baptist/Joseph (jacobs's son). Imprisoned, people were jealous of them. Work horses.
Bulls- Elijah/Peter/Jacob/Paul -stubborn/passionate
Lambs-Moses/Jesus/Abraham - innocent, pure hearted
Goats-Daniel/Solomon/Thomas - determined not to be fooled, seeked wisdom.
Dove-Noah/Lot/Enoch/David - Walked with God,stood out amongst people, Chosen.

These people's lives were CHANGED and were born again when they decided to follow the Lord, and the Lord accepted their blood (their lives, to be used as an example and to fulfill his purpose.)

…16And the LORD God commanded him, “You may eat freely from every tree of the garden, 17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”

When you see right from wrong, good and evil, you make a choice. And judge yourself. You either see yourself as good, become prideful you are not like the others. Or you see yourself as evil, and being evil you choose to put other people down for your own gain.

Being prideful you are not like others isn't love, you die and overlook the meaning of loving each other.
Being evil and putting down others isn't love, you die ignoring the meaning of loving each other.

My interpretation.

THOUGH SHALL NOT KILL. (MURDER)

Luke 8:29
For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. (For many a time it had seized him. He was kept under guard and bound with chains and shackles, but he would break the bonds and be driven by the demon into the desert.

Chains, being bound. False doctrine of fear and punishment, and merely saying we accept Jesus, just to fit in as a child.
Those are the chains. The demons that come with those chains are pride of being saved, arrogance that your belief is better than somebody elses, ego, etc.

After you break your chains and see the lies and false doctrine, your driven into the desert (having no belief system at all, craving the truth (water), craving substance. The demon then is doubt, and hopelessness.

2 “To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:

These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. 13 I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.

14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. 15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

Teaching of Balaam (a god that tortures you physically)
At food sacrificed to idols (pictures of jesus, a wooden cross, scriptures alone, giving presents to the poor instead of wisdom and guidance, etc.) sexual immorality - worshiping other teachings, (charity and good works, going through the motions out of obedience just to be saved, instead of a true love for others, and wishing them well, and helping others because you sincerly want to help).
That new name, will be your journey, your relatioinship with the Lord, how you feel about him. Something intimate, something personal, that only you know.

You are then fed by Mana in the desert/wilderness (which is your sincere desire to know God, and overcome evil and trying to be a good person). That desire for god doesn't go away. You are fed and nourished by that desire to keep seeking and to not give up, while you endure, and grow up spiritually to return back to the scriptures and see them in a new light.

(MURDER)

My heart is tested on a daily basis. What is the source of your interpretation. Words on paper, the same interpretation that has been TAUGHT by MAN, over the last few thousand years? Before Pentecost.

2 Thessalonians 2:11
…10and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.…

John 16:13
The Promise of the Holy Spirit
…12I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yet bear to hear it. 13However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. 14He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.…

The Promise of the Holy Spirit
…6Instead, your hearts are filled with sorrow because I have told you these things. 7But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8And when He comes, He will convict the world in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:…

Sacrificing in terms of killing and slaughter, is not what God intending. The sacrifice he ment, was serving god with your life, and doing his will in your life. Not killing.

THOUGH SHALL NOT KILL (MURDER).
Killing is not love.

Matthew 22:36-40 King James Version (KJV)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 5:17-20 King James Version (KJV)
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

My teaching is spiritual teachings, not phsycial teachings.

Malachi 3:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.

Killing a goat, or an oxen, or even a man (slaughter), does not profit god.

Sacrificing them, in terms of devoting their life to god, and his teaching is what he wants.

A goat/oxen is a personality type of a man.
Apostle Thomas was a goat, Jacob was a goat.
Spiritually discern what it means.

…7He who corrects a mocker will bring shame on himself; he who rebukes a wicked man will be tainted. 8Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. 9Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning.…

John 1:15
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Re: Letting my Light Shine (Parables/Spiritual Discernment)
Matthew 23
1
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:
2
"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat.
3
So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
4
They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
5
"Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries [1] wide and the tassels on their garments long;
6
they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;
7
they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them `Rabbi.'
8
"But you are not to be called `Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers.
9
And do not call anyone on earth `father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
10
Nor are you to be called `teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ. [2]
11
The greatest among you will be your servant.
12
For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
13
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. [3]
15
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
16
"Woe to you, blind guides! You say, `If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.'
17
You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred?
18
You also say, `If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.'
19
You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred?
20
Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it.
21
And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it.
22
And he who swears by heaven swears by God's throne and by the one who sits on it.
23
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.
24
You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.
25
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
26
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
27
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean.
28
In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
29
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous.
30
And you say, `If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.'
31
So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets.
32
Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!
33
"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?
34
Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.
35
And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.
36
I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.
37
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.
38
Look, your house is left to you desolate.
39
For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, `Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.' [4] "

Verse 33, he calls them snakes. Personality type.
Goat/Sheep/lambs, and doves were used as sacrifices to god.
Not snakes.

Snakes (pharisees/sadducees) don't devote their lives to god.
They teach a literal and not spiritual interpretation of the law (Torah/Old Testament). They love being in their position and having people come to them for guidance. Just to receive tithes to take care of their daily needs.
Modern day preachers, and people who believe the message of fear and literal torment, literal sacrifice. Those are modern day Pharisees and Sadducee.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple
12Then Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling doves. 13And He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’ But you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’” 14The blind and the lame came to Him at the temple, and He healed them.…

Robbers, robbing people of love for the lord, and making us fear him, and being saved out of fear. Robbing people of their innocence. Thieves, stealing money through offerings, stealing people souls.

How many people in church actually have a discussion, or do we all sit like good little boys and girls, like we were taught listening to one man. Where is the discussion, where is the people who open others people's eyes at. These preachers go to THEOLOGY SCHOOL, kind of like college, to learn a doctrine, that they repeat. Religion is a JOB to them. Devoting your life to god, isnt a JOB, its a choice and a lifestyle.

Re: Letting my Light Shine (Parables/Spiritual Discernment)
33No one lights a lamp and puts it in a cellar or under a basket. Instead, he sets it on a lampstand, so those who enter can see the light. 34Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your vision is clear, your whole body also is full of light. But when it is poor, your body is full of darkness.…

Jasher Ch 22

42 And Ishmael boasted of himself to Isaac, saying, I was thirteen years old when the Lord spoke to my father to circumcise us, and I did according to the word of the Lord which he spoke to my father, and I gave my soul unto the Lord, and I did not transgress his word which he commanded my father.

43 And Isaac answered Ishmael, saying, Why dost thou boast to me about this, about a little bit of thy flesh which thou didst take from thy body, concerning which the Lord commanded thee?

44 As the Lord liveth, the God of my father Abraham, if the Lord should say unto my father, Take now thy son Isaac and bring him up an offering before me, I would not refrain but I would joyfully accede to it.

45 And the Lord heard the word that Isaac spoke to Ishmael, and it seemed good in the sight of the Lord, and he thought to try Abraham in this matter.

Re: Letting my Light Shine (Parables/Spiritual Discernment)
Isaac was basically saying, that if the Lord tells his father, to devote Isaac life and train him in the truth of the scriptures, Isaac would be joyful to devote his life to the Lord, and learning what true faith, hope, and love is.

The spiritual circumcision is leaving the false doctrine of idols (physical altars in churches, pictures of jesus, wooden cross, etc, graven images). Its not a physical snip. The penis represents a man's private hidden parts of the body.

Jesus says his body is the bread of life.
His body is his teachings, that make up his faith. All his teachings work together to form a single living message. His bread is the New Testament.

So when a man is circumcised spiritually, he gets rid of false doctrine in his heart, and truly discards it. Seeing it as lies based on fear trying to control people. The crown of the penis then shows and sticks out and is not covered up.

Luke 11:33
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light."

pre circumision, the crown of the penis/head is covered up under a bowl and hidden.
After circumcision it is shown.

The teaching that we believe, our hidden thoughts and feelings that dwells in us is hidden. When we circumcise and get rid of covering up the head, when we drop our pride and ego that blinds us, the head is shown. The truth is shown.

That is what circumision is. A physical circumision of the penis does NOTHING, especially when our bodies will perish.

Teaching that somebody is going to be punished because they aren't physically circumised is ridiculous.

Matthew 13:14
King James Bible
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

You hear, by knowing the scriptures, but not understand the meaning.

You see by doing these things, but not perceive the message and reason behind it.
