Re: Coffee and anxiety
Stay away from coffee if you get panic attacks

In fact, stay away from caffeinated drinks altogether if they aggravate your condition

Even with just general anxiety disorder it might be a good idea

Tea can be a good substitute

Herbal tea, right?....hf

Tea has caffeine in it too, in fact, more caffeine than coffee before brewing.

Coffee I can do fine. Tea sends me through the roof with activity. No anxiety, though.

Re: Coffee and anxiety

I drink coffee but get anxiety few hours later anyone else get this?

I've never had anxiety as a side effect, but have had heart palpitations occasionally & my love 💘 affair with coffee began about age 4-5 when my grandpa would let me have a cup with him occasionally. I was a hard core coffee drinker by 15. Worked nightshift in my 20s and by that time I needed about 4 cups every night at work. Then as I got older I began cutting back, NEVER let myself have more than 2 cups a day. Recently though, I'm back to 3-4 cups daily and I must say I am enjoying this newfound energy!!

you are supposed to have anxiety
it is normal, supposed to fear things

that is what is wrong with anti-anxiety meds
the meds screw up normal reactions to threatening situations

the children are weaned on anxiety meds and are managed as a herd
the usa is gonna be in bigger trouble in 10 years

dont fear your coffee
drink more and get off those anti-anxiety meds

Re: Coffee and anxiety
More than 1 Cup of instant coffee gives me anxiety

I can have 4-5 cups a day of real coffee and no anxiety
 Quoting: xenophon

What's the difference
 Quoting: Truth Seeker!

Not sure scientifically, just know that coffee made from fresh beans in a machine doesn't produce anxiety for me. Instant coffee does
 Quoting: xenophon

Instant coffee is like white sugar while ground is like brown, the first hits your blood stream and is absorbed more rapidly.
