A Terrible Suspicion..

I have just been hit with a terrible suspicion..
This whole "Impeachment" sham is really just to distract everyone's attention from some deep,
dark maneuver to steal the next election from the people.

Let's face it, we are constantly presented with evidence of superior management skills
by the current president and his team, leaving no possible reason for any sane person to vote against him.

Sure, haters going to hate, but any analysis of the state of the U.S.A. at this point in time can only show prosperity, stability, progress, and a return to America's position as THE world leader.

Trade imbalances are finally being addressed, employment numbers are steadily rising, energy resources are being exploited sensibly, peace negotiations are under way on multiple fronts, delinquent NATO members are being pulled
into line, and positive steps are underway to enforce the southern border integrity.

Where is there any evidence of policy failure or things heading in the wrong direction ?

Where is there any evidence of ANYONE capable of doing a better job for the country ?

It seems to me there is absolutely no chance of the current president being voted out by thinking people, so obviously the only chance for any opposition must come from some form of dirty trick.

I wonder what are these people up to ?
