Why would the BIdens be seeking Chinese patents, or cooperation on Chinese patents?

What kind of individual, or corporate entity, or government body seeks cooperation on Chinese patents?

What might they be for? Bio weapons? Stealth technology? Nuclear? Food? Genetics?

I wonder if "treason" isn't appropriate, here.

But I don't know.

Maybe, Joe Biden, a potential Democratic nominee for President of the United States, or his son, or brother, or other relative, has a perfect right to "seek patents" with the Chinese.

Maybe, my definition of "treason" is too narrow.

But Joe Biden doesn't seem to have a problem talking about it in a TV interview, so it must be OK then, mustn't it?
