I was dx’ed with breast cancer after being on HRT for one year. Age 48. Ceased the HRT immediately. Began getting 2nd and 3rd opinions, and by the time I went to surgery, 6 months had passed. My tumor had shrunken from 2.5 cm to just over 1.5 cm. It was described as “practically indolent” or no cellular growth and cell die off. I did send my slides/films/images to John Hopkins for review and sent my slides also to a genome lab to determine the cancer cell aggressiveness. Chemo was recommended by 3 radiation oncologists, 3 oncologists and 3 surgeons. I worked in medical field and was able to, after many hours of research, conclude the doctors were wrong. I did receive radiation therapy in form of mammosite (inserted radiation seed 2 x daily for 5 days in a row (60 grand). I am alive 11 years later.

But, at that time in your life you decide to change.

You changed the way you thought - letting go of victimhood, self-hate, started thinking more positive and living in gratitude.

You also started moving, embracing exercise and getting outside more.

You became more appreciative...,
