No go zones in Paris, France
I have friends traveling to Paris soon and would like to make sure they are aware of any danger areas they should stay away from.
If anyone on here can give some first hand, boots on the ground advice, it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

It's called Islamic conquest.

Get your white flag out and give them your women.

I'm not going nor would I recommend them going, but they are anyway. I'm just trying to help keep them as safe as possible. Thank you.

well, since a decade there have been really unhealthy diners like mcdonalds and such popping up. your friends should stay clear of that.

more seriously, paris has been cleaned up since the late eighties. the shanty towns are gone, and the suburban centers aren't street crime havens anymore. there's an influx of unchecked migrants nowadays, but they seem to prefer the old city center and are kept under control.

your friends have more chanche of being ripped off by an angry french restauranteur, than by middle-eastern refugees.

Re: No go zones in Paris, France
Thank you for your reply. Are the protests typically in one area or do they pop up at random places?

you mean the yellow vests movement? those are pissed of french working class, and unemployed masses.

the uproar is them wanting to be heard - the violence is usually the police response to their protests. the plundering and vandalism during those riots, are typical subversive factions stirring things up...

if you see smoke and hear racket, don't assume it are festive fireworks.

Re: No go zones in Paris, France
Again, thank you for your reply, I appreciate the input. You're not telling me anything I don't know, I've been a police officer for 25 years, Marine Corps before that. They know enough to avoid any gatherings like the yellow vests protests, I just didn't know if the protests tended to gather in the same areas all the time, if so, it would be easier for them to just avoid those areas altogether. That's all I'm looking for.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply!
