Paid my house off but then decided I wanted a forever home for our family. Ended up buying a home on a .6 mile long driveway, 11 acres 3900 sq ft with the ocean about 150 yards past the woods in the backyard. No regrets, but now I owe about $580,000... probably 5-6 years before I pay this off
