I refuse to pay interest, so I do this thing they did back in the early 1900s called saving. I saved for 8 years and paid cash for a small house. 5 years later sold it for twice what I paid and got a nice 4BR. Sold that for a small loss but found a 5BR that was the same price with 10 acres. Mortgage for past 15 years has been 0, which allowed for credit card to be paid off monthly and starting a few businesses.
