If you need a battle, that is a different room and the price is very expensive! Oh. I don't want to argue. Let's just be happy. Right on! That is in a different building altogether! Anonymous Coward User ID: 78172828 United States 12/14/2019 02:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks, although I didn't watch the argument all the way through. I left them negotiating a price. I first laughed at that skit when I was a teenager, and one of the very few kids even aware of the show. My mother wouldn't watch it. She couldn't get past the naked piano player, and that's just what that merry band of iconoclasts counted on. Mad Magazine (featured in A Hard Day's Night when something like the opposite of product placement was going on. The C word.) Cleese has been quoted as saying it would be impossible to do Monty Python today. It wasn't for squares. I bought the series, although the expense was extravagant in my circumstances, because I still consider it a gold mine of anti-establishment thought. But justifying time spent to watch old shows is another thing. I can't retire to my room and pour over the good old days as I wait for my death. A Merry Band of Iconoclasts! (Has anyone else ever given them that name, or am I the first?) |
