"One day many will hang their heads in shame, when they realize the evil they defended, and the heroes they ridiculed."

“If you love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.” Samuel Adams

NO, just an argument. If you need a battle, that is a different room and the price is very expensive!

Re: For those In need of an argument..
Thanks, although I didn't watch the argument all the way through.

I left them negotiating a price.

I first laughed at that skit when I was a teenager, and one of the very few kids even aware of the show.

My mother wouldn't watch it.

She couldn't get past the naked piano player, and that's just what that merry band of iconoclasts counted on.

Mad Magazine (featured in A Hard Day's Night when something like the opposite of product placement was going on. The C word.)

Cleese has been quoted as saying it would be impossible to do Monty Python today.

It wasn't for squares.

I bought the series, although the expense was extravagant in my circumstances, because I still consider it a gold mine of anti-establishment thought.

But justifying time spent to watch old shows is another thing.

I can't retire to my room and pour over the good old days as I wait for my death.

A Merry Band of Iconoclasts!

(Has anyone else ever given them that name, or am I the first?)

Nice comment, thanks! I grew up watching Monty Python and reading MAD magazine also. Don't wait til you're dying before watching some again..it's good for your sanity and soul..you might even live longer! Laughter is the best medicine!
