Do you remember a revolver being in The Wizard of Oz?

The revolver was always there. I remember as a kid thinking it was odd placement, and literally just saw my VHS a couple months back. This one is wrong.

I am a beleiver in the effect, however maybe its visibility is also selective so some of us saw it some of us are wiped by the effect. I dunno. However in this case its the first one I can say with whole heart I always remember the gun being in it, goofy six shooter looking thing.

they had grenade lauchers. revolvers didn't exist.

You are just speaking to what you know about this movie.

There is no wrong or right in this.....and that is the whole intriguing aspect to this whole thing.

He didn't have a gun until recently. I did a thread on this years ago and the majority of GLP didn't remember a gun at that point.

It's very difficult to come to peace with the ME.

Well the grenade launcher used by us forces and police was designed in the 1930's and the Wizard of Oz was released in 1939.

At this point I discount nothing.

... Okay, that's definitely the weirdest one.

I probably watched Moonraker over 50 times. Honestly probably more. I was obsessed with it as a kid. I'd watch it every day just about.

Yes. I knew there was an oil can in there somewhere. I haven't watched the movie for a while but I knew the scarecrow carried a tool or something with him but the scarecrow pointing the gun has never come to mind until I saw the movie a little ways back....it just looked odd.

Because your genius childhood self was so aware that it would never have missed a small detail that was only on screen for mere seconds

Based on this thread... the majority of people don’t realize how limited their perceptions really are.

And when confronted with this fact...people would rather blame a shift in reality than admit they aren’t perfect.

Yes but it fits with the line "...the man with the gun..." in the Dark Side of Oz as another poster pointed out.

Mandela is all part of the simulation theory propaganda.

When I first seen this movie as a child I thought it was an oil can for the tin man.

I'm not saying I believe in the mandella effect or not, or that I have any idea what the cause is.

I just know that the VHS I played repeatedly in the 90s she had braces in

Explain Moonraker.

The Braces were never in the movie yet groups of people all recall the exact same scene with braces. Why is this?

Sometimes I just post my threads at the wrong moment in time [being as everything exists in the eternal present], now would be a good time to see the similarities between the film and an album written by men that never saw the Wizard of Oz.

Oh, it also has a different version of Wizard of Oz synced to Pink Floyd and it too has the gun in the thumbnail image on the video in the thread.

When the scarecrow shoulders a RPG launcher against the flying monkeys, then, I will say ok, this is something we need to consider.

P.S.I saw the revolver outtakes when I was a kid. We just wer not all phagged out by guns back then.

I remember the Scarecrow carrying the can of oil for the Tin Man not a revolver.

Like I have previously said my own personal experience with something that I know personally "changed" plus countless other "changes" in a host of other examples lends credence, for me, that the "Mandela Effect" is a very real phenomena. Whether people want to debate right or wrong that's up to them as I am way past that point. I still think that the scarecrow never had a revolver in my earlier viewings of the Wizard of Oz movie. But nevertheless there are many of these other "Mandela Effect" examples that are backed up by peoples "solid" memories of the particular thing before it changed. People are welcome to debate and in some cases they may be right in their observations or facts but it can also be at times like debating a person that strongly doesn't believe in a God or that we are living beings possessing a soul & spirit. That person will very rarely be convinced to change their position for a variety of reasons. Not all things in this world fit nice and neatly into the box of rational thinking. There are things that just don't and this Mandela Effect is one of those things...not imo but in my experience...BIG difference.

You sir are very correct. From each of our perspectives we are each right.

And as I wrote, some but very few of us, see both or all different realities and have multiple memories of the same thing, each is different and yet we still remember all the previous versions. That in itself may be enough to drive some mad "...very hard to explain why you're mad, even if you're not mad...”.
