I'm not saying Jesus is the Father, I'm saying He's the Power of God (the Holy Spirit).

YOU'RE the one saying the Father is "the Power of God" (the Holy Spirit), which is false.

It's funny because you are actually the one who is mistaking the Father for Jesus (the Holy Spirit).

Jesus is the Power of the Father, not the Father.

The Bible doesn't teach that the Father is the Holy Spirit (the Power of God).

This isn't even Jesus vs the Father, it's actually Jesus vs "the third entity", and Jesus will win.

Actually, the Bible says "the Power of God" (Jesus) came down from Heaven, and for that reason He's called the Son of God.

Jesus is the eternal Spirit of God, his ETERNAL power.

Jesus is distinct from the Father. Agreed.

I am familiar with the statements. Is it possible the eternal Word of God spoke from the perspective of mortal man because enduring the experience of mortal man was intrinsic to His purposes?

The gift given through the incarnation is meaningful precisely because the Spirit of God became subservient and obedient to the constraints of the flesh. His human form was transient and cannot define the true nature of His divinity.

Any words Jesus spoke while in the form of flesh must be understood within that context. It is also important to remember that Jesus constantly spoke in metaphor and delivered His teachings to man through calculated example and demonstration. Understanding Him in these terms solves many of the alleged problems of contradiction assigned to the incarnation.

If we choose to see Jesus as a non-eternal demigod, created within the constructs of time and space, who merely sits at the side of God in subordination, key scripture grounding the faith becomes invalid. We also lose the hermeneutic canon between the Old and New Testaments.

The Father IS THE SOURCE of all power.

Jesus is the SON OF God.

"SENDING" takes authority AND POWER.

Psalm 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Here's a couple of tidbits from Isaiah.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Isaiah 26:4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.

And to prove my point further, look at the names of the places given in these verses.

Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.

Exodus 17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi:

Judges 6:24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

Abraham, Moses and Gideon ALL KNEW the Father's name.

Good passage to show that the Holy Spirit was active while Jesus was an infant.

Luke 2

25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

I don't praise the Holy Spirit NOR pray to him / it.



Yet scripture is CLEAR about the Father giving the SON glory.

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

He also indeed worships a superhero/demigod named Jesus which was created by the Father many moons ago

And on top of all this he believes in a third entity, the non-Jesus spirit who positively would have existed with the Father before Jesus was created, and I supposed he/it would be his mother of sorts.

NO ONE EVER says "Jesus IS the Holy Spirit".
