Of course the Spirit was active while Jesus was an infant. The Spirit has never been inactive. The Spirit of God does not change. The human experience of God changes. In the following verse, for instance, Jesus tells us the Spirit is already in the world. The problem is that people cannot see or know Him.

The promise of the Spirit means receiving the indwelling of the Spirit. It has nothing to do with a new spirit entering the world.

There is nothing to preclude the Spirit from being active in the world while also in the form of flesh. We see the Spirit in over seventy different places at once in the Book of Numbers (11:25). We also have Jesus telling us, “where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Mt. 18:20). Sounds fairly boundless to me..

"If there is not a written account of Jesus saying it, then it cannot be true."

The logic here fails. Aside from there being many obvious truths never spoken by Jesus in the accounts of the Gospel, Jesus Himself tells us He has “much more to say" than what He said during His incarnation, and that these truths will come from revelation through the indwelling of His Spirit (Jn. 16:12-13)

Jesus never even said "Jehovah" once in the NT and TLS still claims "Jehovah" spoke to him in his kitchen.

Abraham, Moses and Gideon ALL KNEW the Father's name.
