Our Lord Jesus originates from God, the Father, eternally.

The Father does not originate from anyone or anything. He is the source of everything, including the Holy Spirit (Word) (Jesus).

Praying “in Jesus’ name” means praying in the presence of Christ. God does not grant access to His divinity by invocation of proper nouns. Recall that when Moses asks God for the meaning of His name, God answers “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh.” The best translation here is “I shall be present in that I shall be present.” But, even if we go with “I am that I am,” it is important to see God is refusing to restrict Himself to definite forms of manifestation. He did not want His presence to be objectified in the abstract. That is to say, He did not want to be treated as an idol invoked as means to ends outside the realm of relation. Because that’s not prayer. That’s the sorcery we see condemned throughout the Bible.

There is plenty of scripture that tells us Jesus existed before being born as a man and before being given the name Jesus. He transcends any of His physical manifestations and He transcends any name or label given to Him in the realm of men. Knowing Him means knowing His presence. Knowing His name and/or history is not equivalent to knowing His presence.

Jesus is God, and yes I love God.
