In USA - there have around been 27 Amendments in the Constituition ratified in 240 years of independence.

While in a 3rd world democracy like East India, there have been about 122 Amendments in only 70 years of independence

1.71 per year

Which is almost 15X - FIFTEEN TIMES the US rate of amendments

Hence its not even worth the paper its written on.

Not only that, the East Indian parliament often over-rules the Supreme Court by making new laws.
