A new study in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients using dietary supplementation with a unique saturated fat has confirmed earlier research that a non-drug based approach can stabilize and even improve a degenerative disease whose symptoms are usually managed with drugs and not cured.
Published in the journal Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment and titled "Retrospective case studies of the efficacy of caprylic triglyceride in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease," this exploratory study sought to test whether caprylic acid triglycerides (CT) - a type of fat found naturally in the milk of mammals and a constituent of coconut and palm kernel oil - would improve the condition of mild-to-moderately afflicted AD patient.

ANIMAL FRIEND

"All creatures are created from the same paternal heartbeat of God. Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission--to be of service to them wherever they require it. If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."

-St. Francis of Assisi

"The greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated."

True, from what I've read. A doctor gave it to her husband, who could no longer even write his name, and he improved considerably to being able to do so, and other things again.
