The term 'rapture' is not found in the Bible and is a false teaching. The British pastor who came up with this false interpretation first predicted it in 1843, and again, and again, and it's been predicted many times since. It's very illogical and unscientific. I Thess 4:17 is simply a prophecy of the Christ returning in a time of airplanes and rockets. John the Baptist and Jesus son of Joseph were Essenes and taught reincarnation "If you're willing to accept it" - Matthew 11:14-15.
