They want “Daddy Gov” to take care of them from cradle to grave, including making all the things they perceive as negative, illegal... such as any speech or views that oppose their own.

They don’t believe in God, for the most part, and so deify Government... and in not believing in God, they also don’t believe that any rights are “natural” like Jefferson’s three, but should be given and regulated by Daddy Gov.

In short, it’s a spiritual & developmental fatal deficit, which renders what would otherwise be thinking, independent, individuals into maladjusted & dependent slaves, willingly.
