I have just come across the verses in the Bible that talks about the seven angels which sound their trumpets... An after doing a little research the reports of people around the world hearing the "trumpet sounds" have added up more then 7 different times...

So if there have been more then 7...I think its safe to say its not tied to the trumpet sounds spoken of in the Bible...

Though I must agree we should prepare ourselves but not just because we think the end is near... If we truly believe in Jesus and know He is coming for His elect and by the signs spoken of in the Bible soon...
